Academy
Free lessons: your first photoshoot, agency digitals and posing with confidence.
Open the AcademyA guided session for the simple, honest photos agencies ask applicants for. Get set up, work through each shot with a framing diagram and a self-timer, then check every photo before you send it.
Your photos stay on your phone. This page never opens your camera and never sees your pictures. It only keeps your ticks in this browser so you can pick up where you left off.
Keep your clothes on. IMG Models says it "never asks for photos in the nude or lingerie and does not require any kind of monetary payment", and the British Fashion Model Agents Association says legitimate agencies should never ask you to pose for nude photographs. If anyone asks for nude photos, or for money, stop and check the agency through its official website. IMG Models, Get Scouted, accessed 2026 · BFMA, Avoiding frauds and scams, 2025
About ten minutes. Tick each one off as you go.
Work through the list in any order. Each agency asks for its own set, so check theirs and skip what you do not need.

Prop your phone up and set its own camera timer, or use this countdown on a second screen (a laptop or tablet) to pace each frame. Press start, walk to your spot, and take the photo on the beep.
Before anything leaves your phone, go back to the agency's own page and compare.
Examples only, checked in October 2026. Rules vary and change, so the agency you apply to always wins.
